He completed his MBBS from the Government Medical College, Amritsar, Punjab. He has a Diplomate of National Board in Neurosurgery (Direct 5-year course).

He has wide experience working in various fields of Neurosurgery like Brain Trauma, Spine Trauma, Paediatric Neurosurgery, Brain and Spine Tumours and Surgeries for Back Pain etc. He also has experience in Stem Cell Therapy in various Neurological conditions.
