Dr Arun Manjunatha Swamy, popular as Dr Arun Swamy, has completed his medical schooling from Bangalore Medical college and Research institute Bangalore. His evolution as an orthopaedic surgeon took place at the prestigious AIIMS, NewDelhi where he completed his post graduation in Orthopaedics in 2018 as Topper of the batch. His Thesis Research recieved the prestegious K T Dolakia award at the Ranawat Orthopaedic Conference 2019. He continued as a senior resident at AIIMS, NewDelhi, subsequently became a fellow in Joint replacement and in Nov 2022 got promoted to Assistant profesor in the Department of Orthopaedics at AIIMS, NewDelhi.

He is an academician and a passionate Orthopaedic surgeon with hand on experience in more than 2000 Orthopaedic surgeries including Joint replacement surgeries, complex revision joint replacement surgeries, simple and complex trauma surgeries, Arthroscopic surgeries, spine and Orthopaedic tumour surgeries. His main interest is in Hip preservation, Total hip replacement by Direct Anterior Approach and Robotic Total Knee Replacement surgery. With such vast experience in managing orthopaedic conditions his urge to serve people in his state made him resign from the post of Assistant professor at AIIMS, NewDelhi and He Joined as a Consultant Orthopaedic and Joint Replacement Surgeon at Sparsh Multi-speciality Hospital, Yeshavantpur, Bangalore.
