Dr. Chirag Jain began his medical education in Bangalore Medical College & Research Institute, where he finished his MBBS and furthered his study with an MCh in Neurosurgery from the prestigious National Institute of Mental Health and Neurosciences. He has previously worked as a Neurosurgeon in the Government of Karnataka-funded project ‘Karnataka Brain Health Initiative’ at the National Institute of Mental Health and Neurosciences.

Additionally, he is also a researcher in the NIHR Global Health Research Group on Acquired Brain and Spine Injury. He is also a co-investigator in several randomized controlled trials on traumatic brain injury. He has an active interest in academic neurosurgery and research. He is certified in the advanced management of Neurotrauma.

  • Dr Chirag Jain is the recipient of various prizes and awards including a gold medal for Biochemistry, the Torrent Young Scholar Award in Neurosurgery, the 1st prize for Poster
  • Presentation at the Indian Society of Peripheral Nerve Surgery Conference (ISPNSCON 2024) and the Platform presentation (Top ten abstracts) at Euro Neuro 2023, Brussels, Belgium.
