Dr. Mahadev Swamy B, MBBS, MD (Internal Medicine), DM Cardiology (JIPMER), FSCAI, FICC, is a distinguished Senior Consultant and Interventional Cardiologist with 19 years of extensive experience. Dr. Swamy’s academic journey began with his MBBS from Bangalore Medical College , followed by an MD in Internal Medicine from Sardar Patel Medical College (RUHS, Jaipur) and a DM in Cardiology from the esteemed Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research (JIPMER), Puducherry.

Dr. Swamy has made significant contributions to the field of cardiology, having served as an Assistant Professor of Cardiology at the Sri Jayadeva Institute of Cardiology in Bangalore. He has also been a Consultant Interventional Cardiologist at renowned institutions such as Columbia Asia Hospital, CMH Hospital in Indiranagar, and Fortis Hospital on Cunningham Road in Bangalore. His expertise encompasses a wide range of coronary interventions, including primary angioplasty, complex coronary interventions, IVUS/OCT, FFR-guided angioplasty, peripheral interventions, and the implantation of pacemakers and ICD devices.

Throughout his career, Dr. Swamy has received numerous awards and recognitions. He was honoured as the Best Outgoing Student in DM Cardiology at JIPMER in 2016. Additionally, he won prizes for original research at the IHRS conference in Trivandrum and the TN EP Council quiz in Chennai. He also delivered a faculty talk on venous interventions at the International EURO PCR 2018 conference in Paris.
