Dr. Nandini Mitta is a distinguished Neurologist and Epileptologist based in Bengaluru, currently practicing at SPARSH Hospital, Yelahanka. With over 15 years of experience, she specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of complex epilepsy cases, including drug-resistant epilepsy in both adults and children.
 
She has completed her MBBS from Government Medical College, Kurnool, followed by an MD in General Medicine from S.V. Medical College, Tirupati, and DM in Neurology from the prestigious Sree Chitra Tirunal Institute for Medical Sciences and Technology, Kerala. She further pursued a Post-Doctoral Fellowship in Epilepsy at NIMHANS, one of India’s premier neurological institutes.
 
Dr. Nandini is highly trained in surgical interventions for focal epilepsies and advanced neuromodulation techniques such as Vagal Nerve Stimulation (VNS) and Deep Brain Stimulation (DBS) for refractory epilepsy. Her broad clinical interests also include stroke, Parkinsonism, movement disorders, neuromuscular disorders, and dementias like Alzheimer’s disease.
 
Known for her compassionate care and multilingual communication skills, sheShe is fluent in Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, Hindi, English, Tamil ensuring effective patient communication , providing comfort and clarity for patients.
 
An accomplished academic, Dr. Nandini has received multiple gold medals during her MBBS and has won recognitions such as the Best Oral Paper in Epilepsy (2018). She is an active member of the Indian Epilepsy Society and the Indian Academy of Neurology, and has contributed significantly to research and conferences in the field.
