Dr. (Prof.) Sanjana Rai is a Consultant of Internal Medicine with 14 years of experience in clinical practice, medical education, and administration. Previously having served as a Professor & Unit Head in the Department of General Medicine at East Point Medical College and Research Centre, Bangalore, Dr. (Prof.) Sanjana Rai has also held academic positions at Vydehi Institute of Medical Sciences and Research Centre as an Associate Professor, Assistant Professor, and Senior Resident.

With over 12 years of teaching experience, Dr. (Prof.) Sanjana Rai has been actively involved in undergraduate and postgraduate medical education, mentoring students, guiding research, and conducting examinations as an RGUHS examiner and evaluator. Additionally, Dr. (Prof.) Sanjana Rai has contributed as a Postgraduate Thesis Guide and PG Coordinator.

Dr. (Prof.) Sanjana Rai has also specialised in diabetes management, having worked at a Diabetic Clinic for seven years, focusing on diabetic complications and continuous glucose monitoring. Furthermore, she has held administrative roles, serving as a member of the Scientific Committee and the Medical Education Unit (MEU).

Academically, Dr. (Prof.) Sanjana Rai holds an M.D. in General Medicine from Vydehi Institute of Medical Sciences, Bangalore, and an M.B.B.S. from A.J. Shetty Institute of Medical Sciences, Mangalore. She has pursued numerous certifications in cardiac emergencies, asthma, hypertension, diabetes, biomedical research, and medical education from esteemed institutions like Boston University, NHS England, and the European Society of Hypertension.
