Dr. Srinath is a highly acclaimed Senior Consultant in Critical Care Medicine. He previously held the position of Consultant and Group Head in the Department of Emergency Medicine at Yashoda Hospitals, Hitec City, Hyderabad. With a wealth of experience and a strong commitment to healthcare, he has played a pivotal role in managing the challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic.

As the Covid-19 Nodal Officer, Dr. Srinath took charge of developing treatment guidelines for patients and ensuring their continuous updates. Additionally, he assumed the responsibility of Chief Vaccinating Officer during the introduction of the COVID-19 vaccine in January 2021. In this role, he formulated protocols across the hospital group and served as a liaison to receive vaccines from both public and private sources. Dr. Srinath’s efforts have resulted in the administration of over 2,50,000 vaccine doses in Bangalore through the coordination of more than 500 vaccination camps.

Dr. Srinath’s educational background includes pursuing an MBA in Finance from Manipal University, a Post Graduate MD in Emergency Medicine from Vinayaka Mission Kirupananda Variyar Medical College, Salem, and an MBBS from Sri Devaraj Urs Medical College, Kolar.

His extensive professional experience encompasses his current role as Senior Consultant at Yashoda Hospitals, where he heads the Department of Emergency Medicine. Notably, he has contributed significantly to the training of doctors and nurses across different states in India, including Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Madhya Pradesh, and Karnataka.

Dr. Srinath’s involvement in various professional memberships, such as his role as Treasurer in the Asian Society for Emergency Medicine and the International Federation of Emergency Medicine, highlights his dedication to advancing emergency medicine globally. He has also held leadership positions in several organizations, including being the President of SEMI and the Academic Council Chairperson for SEMI.

Furthermore, Dr. Srinath has made substantial contributions to research and publications in the field of emergency medicine. His work has been published in reputed journals, focusing on topics such as COVID-19 vaccination, guidelines for cardiac life support training programs, and the setup of intensive care units for COVID-19.

Throughout his illustrious career, Dr. Srinath has received numerous awards and recognitions, including the “Dynamic Indian of the Millennium Award” in 2022 and the Sri. APJ Abdul Kalam Award for Emergency Medicine in 2018. He has been a keynote speaker at the Emergency Medicine Association of Turkey and has been instrumental in setting Guinness World Records for Basic Life Support (BLS) training.

Dr. Srinath’s leadership, expertise, and dedication to emergency medicine have earned him a prominent place in the healthcare community, making him a valuable asset in the ongoing battle against the challenges posed by emergencies and global health crises.
