Dr. Ullas Gopalakrishna is a Consultant in Critical Care Medicine at SPARSH Hospital, Mysore Road. He graduated from Bangalore Medical College in 1996. He finished his post-graduation from SETH GS Medical College & King Edward Memorial Hospital, Mumbai. After working as a teaching faculty he moved to the UK for further training in anaesthesiology and intensive care medicine in Leicester (UK). He got his European Diploma in intensive care in 2007.
Dr Ullas Gopalakrishna returned to India in the year 2005. He has been practising anesthesiology since his return to India. He has worked as a consultant in leading hospitals in Bangalore and has vast experience in looking after critically ill patients with multi-organ failure requiring advanced life support.
His interest and expertise lie in respiratory support for severely hypoxic patients including advanced ventilator support, high-frequency oscillation and extracorporeal membrane oxygenation. He is very experienced in managing tropical infectious diseases.
He has been a mentor and guide to several intensivists and has various publications in reputed medical journals.
