Dr. Vishnu Vahan Prasan is a dedicated ophthalmologist trained in cataract surgeries and medical retina. With a passion for catering comprehensive eye care for patients, he emphasizes on preventive ophthalmology. Dr. Vishnu’s journey to ophthalmology started with MBBS from Somaiya Medical College, Bombay University, followed by DO from Ramaiah Medical College, Rajiv Gandhi Health Sciences. After completion of fellowship course at Sanakara Netralaya, a premier eye institute of India, he worked in the same institute as consultant Ophthalmologist. Having completed 15 years of experience from Sanakara Nethralaya, a premier eye hospital of India.
Dr. Vishnu was one among the selected 15 candidates of the world to attend the prestigious postgraduate degree M.Sc. program conducted from London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine with the support of Common Wealth Program, UK. Several credits of publications and presentations in the field of ophthalmology merit his deep interest in research. He has worked in both urban and rural areas that illustrate the community ophthalmological interest. Having provided treatments and conducted camps to many seers, officials, students and particularly TTD employees shows his deep commitment towards societal care. An enthusiastic doctor who firmly believes in ethical practice, Dr. Vishnu remains to learning new techniques of surgeries and is committed to provide the best patient care possible to his patients.
